The Point At Phoebus

I think this place has changed ownership a few times and I may have reviewed it before under a different name. The inside is still decorated in a nautical type theme and the dining area seemed clean and had a nice atmosphere. We came in as one of the stops on our poker run. The place was at capacity and the bartender was still able to serve us quickly. There is a small patio out back and it seems like they could spend a little money and extend the dining area to the sidewalk to increase their capacity pretty easy. I don't think they had PBR otherwise I would have gave them 5 stars.

Our first time here and we loved the food. We picked up take out at the bar the bartender was great! I think her name was Katie. Burger tasted like it was cooked on a grill the fried chicken sandwich was fried to perfection. Sweet fried pickles were delicious so were the fries. Good vibe, diverse crowd tasty food; we will come back again.

If you are a wing fan, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. Easily the best wings in Hampton Roads. Great food and the owner is SUPER nice. This was our first time but we will be back soon. LOVED PHOEBUS DIVE BAR!!!!

The prices were good and it has a fun atmosphere. Nicely decorated theme, there's a couple pool tables and a jukebox.

It's such a fun place to let your hair down with friends! Lots on tap, also mixed drinks and affordable menu.
