I recently moved to Wentworth Point and noticed that the only restaurant open at the Piazza between 15 and 17 is Clocks Only. I wanted to share my experience there. The owner approached me after I voiced a complaint about an order. I had ordered a dish several times before, but this time I received something different. When I brought it to her attention, she insisted that the ingredients were always the same, but that wasn't my experience. I ended up requesting a refund, and then she seemed to take issue with me even being there. It felt like I was being threatened, and I don't understand why. I've always tried to be a respectful customer; I only eat there occasionally after work. It's baff...
Under new ownership, won’t be going back. New owners have changed the menu (downgraded) but decided to retain nearly the same name. This used to be a favorite for us locals and we used to catch up with groups of friends here on weekends. It’s now more a “pub grub” place than a café. No longer has pancakes, nor any baked eggs, and the lamb and protein bowls are gone and were really, really good. Hope the new owners find their audience. I’m the vocalist there on Saturdays and it’s honestly the best part of my week. A real community feel and laid-back atmosphere. I’ve had quite a few people come to this venue to see me and have a meal and I’ve heard time and time again how thrilled they are with the menu and quality of food. Keep up the awesome work!
The staff was very friendly when taking my order, but unfortunately, my food took a long time to arrive as they didn't go into the kitchen. To apologize for the wait, they kindly offered me a complimentary hash brew, which was a nice touch. Overall, I would rate the food 5/5, the service 4/5, and the atmosphere 5/5. Fantastic dining experience and ambiance! The cocktails made by the bartender in the beautifully designed black attire were incredible. He was always smiling and ensured that every customer was satisfied with their visit. I will definitely return. Keep up the great work!
The team at On Point is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. I love eating here and visit nearly every day. Don't pay attention to the person who gave a 1-star review; it seems insincere.
I had another disappointing meal at On Point. To start on a positive note, the service was excellent and the speck was delicious. However, there were other issues.
