I’ve visited this stall a few times when in Spitalfields Market, I really appreciate there being a fully vegan stall. The lady who owns the bakery and runs the stall is an absolute sweetheart. All allergens and ingredients are clearly listed in front of each product which makes things so helpful. Everything I’ve bought has always been fresh and lasted several days. The portions are massive so I tend to cut them in half which helps me savour them for longer. She sells cookie sandwiches which are very naughty, brownies, and cake pots. Apparently if you get there early enough she also sells off cuts in boxes.
I can't believe it's gluten-free! The cherry bakewell tart was so delicious that I ate the whole thing... I hate gluten-free but always give gluten-free options a shot and always end up throwing them away after one bite. This woman is working magic here!!! Head down to The Polka Dot Bakery immediately and try one of these delicious tarts! I'm upset I didn't try her tarts sooner, but I'll definitely be back. Cute touch with the polka dot packaging too! This is a must visit if you are in London. We fell upon it accidentally when desperately seeking treats that weren't just a token flapjack or red velvet cupcake. There were a selection of 12. 6 brownies and 6 cookie sandwiches. It was difficult to chose which flavours so we settled with lemon cheesecake and banoffee sandwich cookies. They really hit to spot!
Too much sugar and oil on every bite. We went encouraged by seeing other reviews. We bought 5 different cakes and couldn't finish anything. It was just too much for us, we like sweets but it was to the extreme. The macadamia biscuit had a lot of salt. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I’ve given an extra star because it’s a vegan place but the cookie products I’ve tried have been disappointing. Most recently had the filled cookie pie/cake/massive cookie and it didn’t have much flavour. I don’t think I’ll be back sadly.
I've never tasted brownies or cookies as amazing as these! As a vegan who is also gluten-free, Polka Dot feels almost too good to be true. The flavors are incredibly delightful, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for London.
I loveee the brownies here! The salted caramel one is the best! The raspberry and white Choc is also good! There's so many flavours of brownies and cookiesincluding sandwich cookies! Perfect after some savoury food at Spitalfields
