The small steam Mussel was amazing. Even the portion for 'small ' was actually very generous. The chicken wings and snapper was also very good. Tenderloin was decent but unexciting. Nice beautiful restaurant located at the Grounds of Alexandria. The tables were surrounded by a diverse and beautiful floral decor. Staff were friendly but often absent from area (making it hard to find someone to order or pay). Serving time was a bit slow as well. Overall a nice restaurant for a pleasant meal or a date.
The Potting Shed is a fun place to meet up with family and friends anytime of day. Make sure to make a booking, especially during the holidays as it gets really busy. It is a very crowded and loud environment but the food and drinks are delicious. Make sure you have some extra time to have a look around the potting shed and the surrounding area of The Grounds. You will be surprised to see beautiful outdoor seating and even some farm animals.
Sumptuous food in a lush green setting. Reminiscent of my mothers own potting shed, foliage overhead and pavers underfoot, this is a real experience. As customers and staff weave around and under the greenery (taller people beware), we are treated to vibrant food, meticulously plated on nice China, the stuff that mum usually keeps on display. In brief? Food is excellent, worth coming back again and again.
Food was a bit overpriced. But worth it to treat yourself. The dessert was beautiful, every food was like art. The restaurant looked like a garden and was nice and relaxing to sit and enjoy a coffee or chat with a friend. The service was a bit slow, but I think generally in Australia everyone is super laid back compared to North America.

We were looking for something substantial as the cafe was serving a reduced breakfast menu. Stumbled upon this one and it was perfect. Service was attentive and efficient. Food of good prices and such big portions. Also very delicious. The plants made it cooler on such a hot day like today. I could not find a fault with this place!
I recently had an event held here and I picked the set menu which is great value for money. The food is excellent and the entire party was happy with everything. I really recommend the set menu if you have a big group as it comes with a variety of amazing dishes! The staff were really attentive even though it was super busy.
really nice set up, felt like dinner in a tropical garden. The giant REAL macaw bird added a nice touch. great range of cocktails with some very creative designs. food was nice and not overly priced. great for a date. service was so so (2 of our drinks took forever) but didn't ruin the experience.
Walked in without a booking for sunday lunch, was quickly given a table at the bar. Very fun bar tender to talk with and knowledgeable about her cocktails. The food was amazing and service was very quick, amazing to see parrot at a restaurant she was stunning. A great atmosphere.

Good vibe, great service, good cocktails recommend the watermelon margarita). The only thing was I ordered a medium 1kg t-bone and it came out well done, it’s still good though. Dez was super friendly, attentive and professional. Will definitely come back again.
