Pub run very well by David and Lena, much to endorse them. Normally 3 to 4 real ales available on hand pumps (has been in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide) as well as the usual lagers and spirits. Recommended especially on Tuesday nights for the pub quiz, and European football nights. Hot food is a pleasant surprise for the area, good value and well made.
This is a traditional pub with older older customers but a few youngsters. It's how pubs used to be. Places like this are rapidly disappearing. If you want to stay late just order your last drinks by 11 and take as long as you wish to drink them. Laid back. Music not too loud. Huge beer garden wit TV at back.
Have been coming here regularly for a number of years. Food is always good and value for money. The beer garden is well looked after and a great place to sit. The owners and all the staff are really friendly and aim to look after their customers well.

My partner and I visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed some relaxation in the beer garden before heading inside to order food. The service and food were both exceptional. Thank you!
I frequently visit this pub, and Dave and Lena who manage it are fantastic. They offer a great variety of Real Ales. I highly recommend this place.
