We popped in to the Prince Of Wales for a Sunday lunch as we 've eaten there on quite a few occasions and always had a really nice time. We were seated immediately and checked out the menu, paying particular attention to the 'roast ' section. I was a little indecisive so it was great to see an option to have a 'trio ' of meats with extra trimmings. If I were to rate the service on how horrendous it was, it would certainly score a solid 5/5. Approximately 7:28 pm on November the 28th, my 19 year old brother was refused a single pint of larger. Despite stating the law, which implies anyone at the age of 16 or 17 can enjoy an alcoholic beverage with their meal. Nether the less, we were consequently found bombarded with the statement it 's company policy over and over again. The restaurant offers a diverse menu and the quality of the food has noticeably upgraded in the past few years. Our party of five received all our dishes at the same time, and they were all served piping hot. The friendly and helpful young serving staff added to our positive experience. I would definitely recommend The Prince of Wales for a meal.
