Late review. Unfortunately the reviews regarding the rude manager are correct. Came In with a friend for a quick drink and was shouted at by this lady as we came in from the wrong way and then to be told they’re not accepting customers as they were closing that’s absolutely fine however there were tables filled with people in and outside. Very disappointed on our second visit.... First time we been there 22nd of June and were surprised how good service and atmosphere is ! Girl was working behind the bar she was amazing! Keeping everything under control. Second time we went yesterday 29th of June and we were shocked! All bar table full of empty glasses and boys working behind the bar ignored that. Being busy talking with their friends. Tables around us not being cleared... We quickly had one drink and went somewhere else. Very disappointed! Won't go there again. Its nice place but staff behind the bar don't know what they are doing...
Me and my husband went there on Monday about 12ish 26.12.22. We all ordered a pint and food. Unfortunately I forgot my physical ID. I had one on my phone but the lady serving didn’t wanna hear it. It was very unprofessional and I felt treated very unwelcome most probably due to the fact I was from another country. Will never be visiting again, on top of that the food I received was cold the rest of the group had it nice and warm) which was probably them trying to prove a point that I’m not welcome
My friend and I were there yesterday. Staff are friendly and nice. Unfortunately, I must give them a negative review. My one star review is coming from the two of us getting food poisoning. I almost threw up in the bus home as I was nauscious while my friend got diarrhea. I also got stomach issue today (still do) but my stomach reacts slowlier..

Food was ok, not fabulous, one of us had to change our order as low on stock. Plates were not cleared away when we finished our meal. They were left on table for our whole duration there still on table when we left. So service was poor.
Pub has been transformed. Some staff new but the regular staff still there.. Nathan is class. As mentioned in many reviews, Nath brings the personal element and the respect.. makes me feel at home. Thank you Nathan
Love My local, great chicken wrings, and beer what’s more to want? Oh Nathan recognising you want another beer, bringing it over to your table with the card machine! So you don’t have to move! Friendly local pub.
Had an very pleasant experience the other evening. Great food and great vibes. David particularly made this visit one to remember, amazing member of staff, would definitely recommend.

More of a food pub, the food is good but value not great. Garden looks nice but it was shut when we went. Nice toilet
