A few rays of sunshine cast this place in a great light. There are outdoor tables as well as a raised area indoors with bench seating and tables. The entire pub is decorated with beermats. The bar’s drink selection really sets this residential pub apart, featuring 14 taps including a hand-pulled bitter. Among the options were Siren, Paulaner, and Anspach and Hobday—I now understand where all the beermats come from! The Priory Arms used to be a fantastic pub, but now it's utterly disappointing. There's no food available, the atmosphere is nonexistent, and the first two beers I tried were undrinkable. I abandoned the third and decided to leave. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The Priory Arms is a fantastic pub. Having lived nearby years ago, this was my top spot—especially for the Sunday roast, which was incredible. It remains just as good today. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
