The restaurant offers delicious food and wine at reasonable prices, and we visit quite often. However, I encountered a significant issue during my last visit. I ordered the fish tacos and discovered a large, thick piece of hard plastic in my meal, which resulted in damaging my dental bridge when I bit into it. I notified the manager, who took my phone number and email, but I have yet to hear back from the owner, which is why I’m only giving it three stars. It’s disappointing that the owner has overlooked this incident. I have scheduled an appointment with my dentist for X-rays and an evaluation to determine what needs to be done to fix the damage, and I plan to forward the bill to the owner...
"Absolutely fantastic! They were a bit disappointed that the fried olives weren’t available, but I understand given the circumstances with COVID. We ordered the cauliflower wings and roasted potato wedges, and everyone topped theirs with shaved parmesan cheese. It was my favorite dish, especially with the garlic—so delicious! The beer was also great. Overall, a wonderful experience!"
The restaurant caters well to vegetarians, but the appetizers could use some improvement. The garlic Parmesan fries were satisfactory, but the artichoke spread on the bread was underwhelming. However, the red pepper pesto pizza was outstanding, and I liked that they allowed you to customize it with different toppings on one half. The service was also commendable.
Wow, the food at this place is amazing! I just tried it for the first time, and I'm convinced it's one of the best restaurants in all of San Diego. I had a wonderful evening, and I think you will too! I'm spreading the word to everyone I know—everything from the pizza and pasta to the wings and beer is worth every cent. Brought my best friends from out of town for some food in Oceanside only to be ignored for twenty minutes while other tables were helped. I couldn?t help but feel that we were ignored for that long because of how we looked. Crossed the street to BestPizza and Brew and got amazing service and food right away!
