Located just outside Truro, Cornwall, this charming thatched pub is run by the friendly landlord and his wife. It is a popular spot for visitors traveling between Truro and Falmouth, as well as those heading to the local King Harry Ferry to the Roseland Peninsula. The food is top-notch and the cleanliness is held to a high standard. The pub offers a large car park and welcomes well-behaved children and dogs.
My family and I recently visited this restaurant to celebrate my son's birthday, and we were extremely satisfied with the service we received. The staff were all very friendly, the interior was clean and comfortable, and the quality of the food and drinks was excellent. This was honestly the best restaurant meal we have had in years, and we are already planning our next visit.
Beautiful thatched Pub just outside Truro, Cornwall. The landlord his wife run a welcoming popular establishment used by the many visitors between Truro Falmouth also by visitors on their way to the local King Harry Ferry to the Roseland Peninsular. Absolutely amazing service and staff. Recently stayed in the Annex for my Mother's funeral and held the wake in the annex too. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. They brought the food and drinks over and made my whole short stay so much easier and the wake more intimate. Thank you so much guys will see you again in June
Excellent food and service, definitely will return. We were hosted by Sarah who was attentive and efficient, good range of pub food and specials with a clear explanation of the menu. Well stocked bar and four different ales on tap. Sticky toffee pudding was out of this world.
called under rain conditions. after a walk of 5 mikes before place greeted by the staff and how had dog was politely recommended to take him and my drink. all in all nice pub. good menu, but here did not eat this visit.
on Sunday at 1:30 a.m. we hoped to find a table for Sunday dinner. beautiful manager matched us before a later booking, pub completely full. book them in advance, it is worth it! beautiful staff, good eating! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

"The £23 BBQ experience was disappointing as many items were missing, including the advertised seafood. I ended up settling for rice and noodles instead. When I requested a discount on the bill for the missing items, it was refused. Overall, it was not worth the price."
