The food was good. The service was good. The rating is lower bc I was given condiments to put on instead of the kitchen doing it. Makibg a burger is really a form of art, as is a most culinary recipes. The one issue here is the burger is never as good when I have to put mustard, mayo, etc on myself when it is delivered to the table. I'm not a burger maker and Part of the art of a great burger is placing condiments in the right place in the right quantity. For instance,mayo should be on the bread in my opinion. It was impossible for me to do that as it would tear up the bun due to the cheese. I would eat there again bc the food was good, but I really don't like having to put my own condiments...
decided to have a trek to the purple cow on the look for a good, inexpensive local food for today. this restaurant has met all controls. the eating was good, the atmosphere was a cool old debt inner with 50’s and early 60’s vote in the radio. When we arrived, we sat right in our place and soon after our waitress we came by to take over our orders. our waitress was very nice and attentive. the eating was what they would expect from a diner, the burger I had was very good and my dad was very impressed by his club sandwich especially for the price. a thing I highly recommend is the chocolate milkshake, it was easy but, fantastic. I am very happy with the purple cow, a great place to sit and eat...
Very friendly servers, they were obviously short handed when you dined in. She apologized to us several times for how long it took us to get seated, how long in between drink refills we got, and how slow our service was. The food wasn't quite as good as I remembered at another location years ago. And I wasn't that impressed with the purple shake. Our food arrived cold, and we didn't get the homemade potato chips that it had advertised in the menu. When asked, she said theyhad run out, but had we known we would've went with a different side. For the price, service and quality, we probably wouldn't make the extra trip to stop off at this location again during our travels.
the first time you came here. I like how the restaurant is set up like an old pastime. it wasn't too crowded. the personal was super friendly. now for the burger, I tried the supremen bacon burger with all fixations and was actually good! I also had her famous purple Shake-Ogg, it was the best shake I ever had! (I didn't get a picture). if they like the feeling of an old school-dip food, they will love this place. but the tables are a little too close to the stands for my lust. but overall it is a nice restaurant with good service and even better eating! First time coming here. I like how the restaurant is set up like an old time diner. It wasn't too crowded. The staff was super friendly. Now for the burger, I tried the Supreme bacon burger with all the fixings and was actually GOOD! I also had their famous purple shake omg it was the best shake I've ever had!!! (I didn't get a pic). If you like the feel of an old school diner food, you'll love this place. however the tables are a little too close to the booths for myliking. But overall it's a nice restaurant with good service and even better food!
Decent place to visit. Little on the pricey side but may be related to current events. Our server, Maya(sp?? was on point! We split burgers and the sampler platter. The sampler was good and they give you a nice array of sauces to dip. The burgers, however, were just off a bit. They definitely were fresh cooked and didn't taste previously frozen, but just lacked flavors. Toppings were fresh, but the burger flavor Just didn't come through for me.
Pretty good, service is generally good but not always consistent. Last time I went they sat us where there was a leak and there was water all over the floor with no slip sign. I don’t care about the sign but for an elderly person that’s a huge liability lawsuit waiting to happen. Buffalo chicken sandwich is good as are the burgers, don’t like the fries that much though, stick with the chips or a salad.
