Came to The Purple Cow during our visit to Little Rock. This place was recommended by my brother-in-law's coworker. I typically love diners and this place definitely had a diner vibe. We came at 5pm on a Friday and the place was deserted. I almost suggested going elsewhere because honestly, no customers on a Friday scared me. Luckily, after we sat, the restaurant started filling up. We beat the dinner rush. We ordered burgers, chicken tenders and salad for me. Everyone seemed to like their meals... but it was nothing to write home about. Our server was excellent! We didn't dislike it but we didn't absolutely love it either. It was ok.
Not impressed. Server was attentive but food lacked. Got our drinks then placed our food order. I barely had time to add sweetener to my tea and food was brought out. Patty was small and dry. Had to be precooked to get to the table that fast. Husbands was too. Also menu said it was 1/3 lb beef. Don't see how that is possible. Fries were ok. Menu says onion rings were hand battered. Sorry but they looked and tasted like frozen. Bland. Won't be back. Shame because the building is cool. Such an opportunity to be a neat place to eat but missed. Burgers are not hard to do and somehow they did.
The establishment was very busy ,after church on a Sunday. Staff was very polite seated us quickly,Ordered Classic Cheeseburgers ,Fries and Shakes Best Cheeseburger I've had,fries were also very good and that Purple milkshake you just can't go wrong.Wait staff was quick and very friendly You have to try these burgers you will not be dissappointed.
The burgers we got were mediocre. The service was ok but they appeared to be short staffed so everything took extra time, which I understand happens. The place appeared clean but was not very welcoming and was very generic in appearance. Overall, I would not go back and would not recommend. The purple cow is really sentimental to me so this review is a little biased. But they really do have great shakes salads, and burgers. I'm excited to see that they are rebuilding the location that was tore up by the tornado.
Love the color purple, so naturally we had to stop here and eat. Server we had was friendly and excellent. The atmosphere was nice and clean. The chips and cheese dip was good. The burger was average, nothing special.
Run of the mill food. Bland omelet with (possibly) old potato wedges. BLT was decent but overall unremarkable dining experience. Decent service and the food came quickly but it was definitely nothing I'd return for.
Love their hot fudge sundaes. Each server makes them differently some are in a small container some are in a glass small parfait glass. But, they are darn good either way. The servers are always very pleasant Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
