An innovative cafe on Harris St across from the Powerhouse Museum. The cafè has a trendy interior with a indoor seating and a courtyard out the back. There is an onsite coffee roaster and grinder with the owner importing his own beans from Sulawesi and Java in Indonesia which make for very nice coffee. They were playing a relaxed music selection ideal for the brunch setting.The staff are very friendly, we chose to sit in the courtyard out the back. There is a nice smoke aroma as we enter the courtyard and we notice that they have a BBQ smoker in action, with the kitchen staff continually checking on it. They smoke all of their meat in house. In house roasted coffee and an all day breakfast and lunch menu is what you will find at Q on Harris. The inside is decorated with white and yellow subway tile which is bright and airy. Our suggestions though however is to sit outside which felt like a peaceful oasis. The big breakfast is one of the best value meals we have found - $19 will you get eggs (your choice), maple bacon, tomato, mushrooms, avocado, spinach, toast and your choice of extra protein including pastrami, haloumi, chicken or salmon. I came here for the Kabuki waffle - fried chicken, honey yuzu glaze, savoury waffles, cabbage slaw, shichimi salt, wasabi mayonnaise. It had all the elements to be good, but sadly fell a bit short. Too much sweet glaze on the chicken, and the spices just thrown on top as an after thought. The chicken was a bit too soft, most likely because it was deboned - which makes for easier eating, but less flavour and texture. And the savoury waffles lacked flavour. Still.... there's no such thing as bad fried chicken!Otherwise it's a nice space, well decorated with a clean & simple design/layout, so as far as cafes go, it's a great venue to spend an hour or two in over coffee & a bite to eat.

Try the green tea cheese cake lots of green tea quite bitter but nice creamy texture and sour curd to break the bitterness. The Oreo crumb is salty and crunchy adds texture. But $10 a slice is a bit pricey, not for the light hearted coz the green tea is really there that's why it's called a double matcha. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

This place is a great place to visit if you love your coffee like I do. The texture of the milk was perfect the temperature was perfect the taste as well. The coffee beans are really really good, they roast their own coffee in the cafe it's a plus always.

Im a local and this fast became my favourite local cafe. The food is cooked with passion and skill. Ive yet to try anything here that wasn't delicious. Quickly becoming famous for their matcha cheesecake, but trust me everything is great.
