Since Zoe has taking over the Queen Vic it has a very nice vibe to it. She's made it her own style a few alterations and decorated through out, and its really a nice feel good community pub. Zoe's a really lovely Landlady very friendly and loves a good laugh. What more could you ask for? As for the food, now that Joe has come back OMG winner winner chicken dinner!!! No that's not the only thing Joe cooks LOL The roasts on a Sunday are a fantabulous basic non complicated menu, and in my eye's that's how Sunday's should be. I visited the Queen Vic for the first time in about three years, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff were wonderful, the beer was perfectly maintained, and the food was simply delicious. I ordered the classic burger, which turned out to be the best pub burger I've ever had – and it was also much cheaper than similar options nearby! The chef even came out afterwards to check on our meal, and the bar staff were both friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place! Food rating: 5/5.
We had a wake there, and was very happy with everything, the staff are lovely and Joe the Chef is amazing, the food at the wake was great so we went back last night for a meal and the food was exceptional, this is a good thing but a lot of food on the plate lol,, great value great food great village pub, will definitely go back again loved it.
