The food was excellent, but the service was lacking. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food, only receiving it after we asked about it. As we were still enjoying our coffee, we were abruptly told that our table was needed and asked to leave, even though we had only been there for an hour and a half. The slow service was not our fault, yet we felt rushed out. The manager was not sympathetic at all. We will not be returning, as we left feeling unwelcome. The vegetarian options were good, particularly the nut roast.
My friend and I went to this restaurant for lunch on a Monday and enjoyed some drinks and classic British tapas like chunky chips and bruschetta. We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy and lively atmosphere of the pub, especially for a Monday lunch. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, and the drinks were great too. Our server Emily was very friendly and attentive. We have been to this pub many times and always enjoy coming back.
It was the second time I came because they had new special dishes and now we have been surprised that they have new specials every week, this week it was the seabream with white wine and lemon sauce! MY FRIEND AND I WERE DELIGHTED with the food! Congratulations for the effort. We will be back soon!

We had a great time at this restaurant. Visiting from the US, we were looking for a place to have an early dinner, and the cozy atmosphere of this pub was exactly what we were hoping for. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
