we ate there as a party of 14, in the crimbo limbo twixt christmas and new year. Yes, there was a waiting time, but it was full. 14 adult fed for under £300 and that included a £30 tip, some had starters, some had desserts, we all had drinks and a main course, so that is good worth in my book. my food was in order and I didn't hear any complaining, I love the idea of a mini dessert and hot drink that was dessert was a perfect part for me and tasty, we had expected the drinks had arrived at the same time, but they soon came after so no worries. excellent access to the building and a disabled toilet, good attention from the staff for our needs.
This was my first time having lunch with friends since my last dinner here three years ago. I've noticed a few changes and improvements. The bar seems to have been renovated and looks beautiful and impressive. The garden seating area is stunning. The staff is friendly. However, the highlight of my visit was definitely my meal. I ordered the triple treat special, and it was delightful. The chicken was juicy, the beef was tender, and the potatoes, carrots, and parsnips were cooked to perfection. I also noticed they've updated the logo of the Fox.
One of the places we will definitely come back to. We can't say anything negative after our last visit. A good place for a little break from everyday life. Tasty dishes prepared with class where everything really has the right flavor. Lots of space inside, in good weather in the garden and quite a lot of parking space.
Popped in for a few drinks at lunchtime. Lovely atmosphere with some people dining and others having a leisurely drink. The place is looking great after its refurb! The coffee was absolutely superb, brought to me by Lucas who was most charming and attentive. Couldn't fault the experience.

The dining experience was exceptional; it was truly the best filet steak I've ever had! The service was excellent, provided by friendly staff. The atmosphere was lovely, and we had a wonderful evening overall.
First time here and very impressed. Lovely chap looked after us as soon as we arrived. When we asked he happily put extra wood on the fire. Great food, plenty of it. Too full for pudding! Not bad price
Our waiter was very friendly and genuine. The food was delicious, and the menu offered a great variety. We traveled 312 miles from Scotland to visit family, and it was the perfect atmosphere to relax.
Had a really lovely meal with friends..the food was really nice and look good on the plates and the staff was very friendly .I would definitely come back here again
