We arrived early but our table was ready. We were given two menus the first being the festive fare and the second the every day menu. There was the same items on he menus so we chose off the every day menu because it was cheaper than the festive fare. The food was very good and well presented in fact we have visited the restaurant on several occasions and yet we haven’t experienced a bad meal. The food is good quality and very reasonably priced.
determined to try this place as they dog friendly and had vegan options, and we were not disappointed! eating was amazing! the staff was beautiful and even brought fresh drinking water for our dog and 3 dog biscuits! we sat outside in a beautiful garden with flowers and fairy light, the whole place was beautiful. there were many seats and a beautiful playground for children. everything was so clean and we didn't have to wait long for our food.
Idyllic country pub. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, spacious but still cosy feeling. Super clean and comfortable. Staff so friendly, great fast service but the stand out was the quality of the food. My husband had a belly pork dish that was generous and had him asking who the butcher was. I have a few allergies and had a lovely steak with lots of sides and total confidence in the food. Child friendly. Absolutely no complaints
had a really nice meal here on the bank holiday. the personal was friendly and welcoming and we were quickly sitting and our order was taken. chose something from the Burger drink menu, which was very good value for money. our food arrived immediately and it was very good. excellent burger, with all extras, very tasty and good portions. would like to return and recommend to others. only visited today with little one i can tell is a really good country pub well cleaned and designed absolutely loves the atmosphere! the personal where really friendly and helpful the standard of food well also! the reason why I left 4 stars of 5 ate my son fishing finger, which was very oily. the rest of the food was delicious.
Always good quality food and not too expensive although pricier than my local estate pub. But this is more restaurant style and the landlord has managed to keep going by diversifying through lockdown and has emerged out the other side. Big outdoor seating area and large interior. Could do with a few more real ales to get 5 stars.
Such a lovely pub if only we lived within walking distance! Delicious food, great choices (even for the vegetarian and gluten free people in our party), well presented, reasonable prices, and friendly, professional service. Lovely little play area, and relaxing atmosphere. Thank you!
