It was my partners birthday, and I asked for a few extras, and it was sorted... the service is of very high standard, friendly, professional, and helpful. The restaurant is reeeeally nice!! It looks and feels like a steak house. The food... if you want the best steak in Cornwall.... you have to come here! Some say it's top pricey, but the cost is reflected in the quality of this place. Great to see this place open again after the fire that meant they were closed for a while. It was great to see that it's as good as it used to be in every way. Best steaks ever. They had prawns as starter on the specials menu when we went and the taste and quality was excellent. So pleased it's reopened as it's one of our favourite places to eat in Falmouth and definitely the place to go if you like steak! Service: Dine in
Good to great food, but service did not match. I ordered a starter of ribs, but received and was charged for a main. Annoying! That said, the ribs were cooked to perfection and delicious. The southern fried chicken burger was average, the breaded coating not at all crispy. The staff forgot to charge for a glass of wine, which I advised them of (and they appreciated). Service: Dine in
Absolutely delicious food with really lovely efficient waiting staff. Nothing was too much trouble there was no rush for us to leave the table. I would award them more than 5 stars if I could. We had the seafood platter for two and certainly was worth the price. The waitress was insanely friendly and was quick to assist when we asked how to open the crab and what parts we could eat and couldn’t (we had never had crab before).
