As soon as you step into the Rathsheller, you’ll feel like you’ve been whisked away to a simpler time. If you think of the show Cheers, this spot could be considered its modern-day equivalent. The food and service were both excellent. This place felt like a hidden gem for me, nestled away in a quieter corner. If you’re in search of delicious food that warms the soul, look no further. Be sure to try the French onion soup and the Lobster Reuben—both are absolutely delicious!
As soon as you enter the Rathsheller you are transported to a another time where things were simple. If anyone remembers the show Cheers , this place is the modern day Cheers. The food was great, service too. This place for me my sister was a hidden???? in the Dunellen area. If you are looking for good food that comforts your soul then this is your place ????. Be sure to trythe French Onion Soup and the Lobster Reuben-Yum, Yum????
The food is really good and have some different options. I know it might sound a little weird but the lobster Reuben, could possibly be my all time favorite sandwich. That is a huge statement, literally could be the best sandwich ever. Port wine cheddar burger is great, again different. The fillet tip appy is a family favorite. Take out is a breeze, and they now have outdoor dining. Very relaxed and casual.
Went here with my family last weekend for the first time. The place has a very cool vibe to it that we all enjoyed. The french onion soups were great. I ordered the short rib special which was super tasty and omg THAT GRAVY!! The manager (or owner? cameto our table to ask how we liked everything which was also nice. What a great find! Been coming here for years and it's continues to be our go to spot. The cozy atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. We have Never had a bad meal there, and the service is always top notch. The bartenders are also always on top of their game. You won't be disappointed.
Dinner was amazing as usual. Felt a little rushed by the waitresses. Always coming to the table and taking our empty plates and continues asking if we wanted anything else. Not every friendly either. But we'll be back.

The stone walls remind me of the charming restaurants in Quebec City. Lots of great stuff on the menu but the Triple French Onion soup is a do-not-miss.
