The owner was brilliant can't fault the service. Room was good size and clean. Should have more chairs in the room with coffee table and more electric sockets nearer the bed. A fantastic place a superb location nestled between the A5082 the approach to Coniston Waters Lake. They serve fantastic cooked food home style) the bar serves great local brews including The Great Corby Stout. Second time we have stayed here after the Cartmel races and as fantastic as our first stay . Lovely little pub, good beer nice home cooked food and one of the best breakfasts around , real gem of a place . Thanks and hopefully be back next year .
