Delightful pub on the banks with glorious views of the River Severn with plenty of outdoor space to accommodate many people on sunny days. Being at the end of the Wainlode flood plain, the Red Lion has a long history of being flooded or close to. Excellent friendly service with well kept ales and lovely home cooked food from local produce. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Who doesn't love a riverside pub? There are plenty of outdoor seats along a peaceful road. The table service is excellent, and the location is stunning, situated on a gentle bend of the River Severn. The atmosphere on a summer afternoon is simply beautiful.
The restaurant offers plenty of outdoor seating with lovely views of the river, which was delightful on a sunny day. The burger and fries were delicious, as was the beer. Since I'm not a regular visitor, I'll give it 5 stars based on my limited experience.
