This was our first time at The Red Lion for Sunday lunch, and we had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent; all the staff were friendly, and the safety measures in place were spot on. Despite these precautions, the atmosphere remained warm and relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious. We both started with the tiger prawn cocktail, followed by my roast chicken and my husband’s roast pheasant special. Everything was cooked to perfection. I have to mention the roast potatoes—they were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and they tasted amazing with rosemary and garlic. We’re definitely planning to return to explore more of the menu!
We've visited this lovely small village pub a few times, and Whitney and Alex manage the place excellently. The food is amazing! On Tuesdays, they offer a tapas special: three for £15, and this is the fourth or fifth time we've enjoyed it—it's simply delicious. They have a fantastic lunch, breakfast, and dinner menu, and it has quickly become one of our favorite dining spots. The service is excellent, too!
The menu offers a wonderful selection, and everything we tried was incredibly fresh and delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we couldn't have asked for better service. We plan to return to sample the Sunday Lunch, as we overheard a couple raving about how fantastic it is.

Great village pub with a very friendly atmosphere! The newly introduced food menu which includes the likes of burgers and fish with an additional Tapas menu is excellent and well worth a try!
the best thing this pub ever was. the owner has turned this place around and it is now a pleasure to visit. Eating is great, good choice of behave and the best pork cratzer round!
