Found this place by accident, was busy with people outside sat enjoying the sunshine so thought I must come back. Visited on a sunny evening, only bought a few drinks. Staff very polite and friendly as we're other customers. Sat out in the beer garden to enjoy the evening sun before leaving. Would recommend for a nice little country hideaway within commuting distance to Lincoln and the M180. Git eyes on some of the food served to others too, loomed amazing, we will return.
Very poor chicken supreme was not chicken supreme which to me should be chicken breast and a cream sauce but a quarter of a chicken which was served along with the veg cold. Others had the beef which was also cold. The waitress apologised and replaced the meals but the replacement meals were only marginally better. Roast potatoes were clearly heated in a microwave making them tough. One of the beef was very chewy Clearly not a caring Chef.
4 adults and a toddler visited for Sunday late lunch at 3pm, it was very busy, but the staff were brilliant. Our order was taken quickly. Three of us opted for a roast and one of us for the fish and chips. The food was fantastic as always, great portion size with all the favourites to accompany the slow roast beef. Excellent! A huge improvement in decor, food quality and service.
Came for Sunday dinner and was pleasantly surprised to see the choice of slow cooked or rare beef . I opted for rare beef and it came with all the trimmings and was lovely a really nice dinner . I did order a side of cauliflower cheese which was very disappointing and it was £4 extra . The cheese was like a milk sauce and tasteless . Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Under new management so no carvery anymore but the Sunday lunch was very nice. We sat in the beer garden, I'm not sure if they allow dogs inside. I don't think it's a hotel. Service: 5 Location: 5
