Food: I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was nice and crispy but nothing special. The chips were similarly good but average. Service: The service here was abysmal. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. The place was nearly empty when I went for dinner. Despite that a young male server looked around the empty room, looked at me and then sat me in a hidden corner at a tiny table that was clearly not meant to be for customers. After about half an hour I eventually got up and asked a bartender if I could put an order in. She was confused because she had no idea I was there. She confronted the jerk that put me at that table for not telling her that he sat a customer, and for purpose...
Just back from a delicious family meal at the Red Lion. Fantastic food and service and a great table just next to a roaring fire perfect for a cold winter evening. We’ll definitely be back!
eating and the staff were very good and I can't blame either. the waiting times for food, both courses, were inacceptably long as it was the case every time when I was in the restaurant.
