Today I visited the red rose for dinner on my family holiday. The waitress was lovely super friendly and helpful. The food was divine but the chocolat, well that was the best chocolate cake i think I've ever had. I've eaten a lot of chocolate cake around the world and this was to doe for. I cant describe how good this cake was. It made my mouth water just looking at it
Good service but you probably have to be brittish and also had a few pints to appreciate the food. Great menu with halibut, sole and hake... But we all had the same greyish fishy matter, definetely not the fish you ordered, more probably frozen pangasius. It was also the same stuff in the kids fish fingers... There are plenty other much nicer resturants nearby...
We loved it here, we loved the food and the staff who are mother and son. The garlic bread with cheese was the best we have had. We loved the sirloin steak in pepper sauce too, there's no skimping on the chips either like other restaurants. The beer is nice and just what you need after a walk around the harbour.
