I really enjoy dining at The Refinery. I have visited a couple of times now and have always been pleased with the setting, ambience, and staff. However, on my most recent visit, I was disappointed with the price of the main meal and the portion size. I ordered the pan-fried salmon, which was supposed to come with cauliflower for a healthy option. Unfortunately, the dish only came with a few small pieces of cauliflower, and I felt that it was not worth the £13.95 price tag. I would have preferred a larger portion for the price. We made a reservation on OpenTable about a month in advance, but when we arrived at the restaurant, they claimed they had no record of our booking. Despite our disappointment, they offered no assistance or attempt to accommodate us, which was especially frustrating since it was the last Friday before Christmas and all other restaurants were fully booked. This lack of help and poor service was disappointing.
Had an amazing time, food was great and the service was fast and very friendly. Really good if you want somewhere with a bit of music with your dinner. Had a great time. Will definitely go again.
excellent choice in this greggs with warm options a lot. always a wait, but efficient staff and service means that they never wait too long
