Really disappointed. Used to be a regular here. Thought we'd try after not going for a few months, and to check out the new decor. It sadly looks like a rush job, with the rickety old stairs and manky carpets left. The loos haven't had an upgrade either. The food menu is really scaled back and portion sizes are so small compared to what they used to be with prices increased. The staff seem to have to yell at each other and inform the entire restaurant of their day off plans, and some, I'm sorry to say, just do not look professional. Really disappointed and won't be going back.
Hubby and myself have eaten here regularly, however tonight my burger was burnt and it was replaced with another burnt offering. Hubby had a great pizza. I had a coffee and hubby a coke. Despite me returning both my uneaten meals all that was deducted from the bill was the price of the drinks. I paid for a meal that I didnt eat. Wont be bothering with this place again
Had the most amazing gluten free pizza in here this evening. The base appears to be made fresh in the kitchen, was crispy round the edges and not soggy in the middle. Good size too. I’m wheat intolerant so it’s not often I find somewhere I can get a decent pizza. There is a good list of optional extras toppings. I shall make this a regular treat now.
I had a wonderful evening singing along (terribly) with the Fishermen's Friends. They put on an excellent show and I enjoyed every minute. The Illegal Eagles were fantastic. However, the drinks were quite pricey.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly. Despite it being our first time there, we were warmly welcomed and received some helpful tips on parking and other dining options in the area.
A great local cinema, range of screen sizes. A wide ranging, ecclectic mix of films, live shows, and live stream experiences. A lovely bar with a range of hot meals.
I didn't know this place existed, but had an absolutely fantastic evening. I will definitely be coming back in February for Jim Davison.
Fab food good service a really friendly team of staff Would definitely recommend to friends.. just a shame theydon't serve breakfast
