I was really disappointed to only give this restaurant a 2/5 rating. My partner and I went for lunch today and were left unimpressed by our meals. I ordered the buttermilk chicken burger and was unhappy with the presentation - the bun was too small for the patty and there was no salad, with only a few chips. My partner had a standard beef burger that was also small, finishing it in just a few bites. The portion of chips was small as well, with only 16 small ones. I was surprised to see no side salad included with the meals. Overall, we were very disappointed and don't plan on returning. On a positive note, the drinks were nice and served promptly.
Lovely evening. Pitchers at 4pm were fantastic,at the start 1 full Glass full each with 2 ice cubes each. 8pm. There was more ice that drink to half a glass of cocktail the rest ice. The pitchers changed that much. When the drinks were poured our the whole pitcher was full to the brim of ice without the sharing cocktails in. Food was OK, the burgers didn't fill up our group but the bbq chicken melt was lovely for myself. Shots were reasonably priced. Just a shame about the measures of cocktail at the start of the night compared to the end. .
I've eaten at other Wetherspoon locations but I suppose this one was by far the worst of them. We've ordered 6 oz American Burger and Pizza Margarita. The meat in the burger might have felt turtured. We almost broke our teeth. The patties were so dry and crispy, not juicy at all. The only delicious thing was the drink for which it was not produced in here. It's an embarressment for the restaurant and insult to the customers. Shame on them. I would never recommend anyone to eat in here.
Visited on a very busy Sunday night, our food arrived very quickly. Fish n Chips (large portion) was fresh hot. The Chicken Curry came with all the extras a good sized portion. Drinks limited on the night, so no cider at all via the pumps! Offered bottles as an alternative at no extra cost to our meal deal so happy customers! Would come here again when visiting Cambridge. Great location in the centre of Cambridge in a converted cinema retaining many of its interesting original features and decor. As is usual with this chain, it offers excellent drinks range, especially real and cask beer all at very reasonable prices. This also goes for the food menu, which many on the menu includes a drink! The staff were friendly, polite and efficient.
We decided to try The Regal for the first time and opted for a table upstairs since it was crowded downstairs. We were happy to discover that we could order food at the bar upstairs. We ordered Scampi and Chicken Tikka curry along with some drinks. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Overall, a great dining experience at The Regal.
This Wetherspoons is great. It used to be a 1930's cinema and has been converted into a stylish space while still maintaining its original features in an art deco style. It's multi-level and on a Wednesday morning, it's a peaceful spot in the city center. They also have a good selection of guest ales available.
Great place with good food, the staff were very friendly, the food came quite fast and hot and the portions were quite larg, and it was way cheaper than most of restaurants, and you had a lot of options to choose from the menu. Definitely worth eating here Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Visited yesterday for tea. Booked through the app. The food was delicious. One meal came with chips instead of the requested jacket potato but got swapped bit of delay on this so meant ate at different times.
