I recently went out for Steak night at this restaurant and it was delicious. The staff was great, the atmosphere was very relaxed, and everything was clean and tidy. The food was hot, generous in portion, well presented, and tasty. I have also been here for breakfast before, which was also very good. I was lucky enough to sit outside last time and the table service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a treat, but be aware that winter hours and seasonal closures are approaching. We have visited the Regent cafe a couple of times. The last time three days ago. We were surprised to find that the business had changed hands. We were warmly welcomed, served with a very nice coffee with an Ample portions of scampi and chips nicely cooked. Some parking outside with tables for outdoor dining. Directly across the road is ample parking on what was the village green. Honesty boxes for donations are available. This restaurant offers great value for the price. The selection of food was excellent and the dishes were incredibly tasty. The service was outstanding and we enjoyed a lovely view of the sea from our table. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is perfect for a lunch outing, with prices ranging from £10-£20 per person. The food quality, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5-star rating. Vegetarians will be pleased with the clearly labeled vegetarian options on the menu.
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The homemade mackerel pate and sourdough bread were delicious, and the beef Sunday lunch was beautifully prepared. We ended our meal with a refreshing raspberry sorbet. The staff were very friendly and we couldn't recommend this place enough. The service, food quality, and atmosphere were all top-notch. Price per person was between £30-40.
