I can't believe we waited so long to go here. We tried it on a Saturday night recently and it was excellent! Owner was there and greeted us on arrival. He had a table with a great view quickly bussed for us. Service was quick. We had the rockfish nite appetizer, oyster po' boy with fries, seafood platter, and one member of our party had a burger. All were really good. Rockfish bites were large and perfectly cooked with a sweet chili sauce. Platters were huge with soft shell, shrimp, oysters, crab balls, and two sides. Crab balls were meaty, crab was well seasoned, oysters were large and plentiful. The platter would have fed two of us. Po' boy was great with many oysters and a lightly toasted...
For dinner, my wife ordered the fish and chips, which featured catfish—a unique twist that she enjoyed. I opted for the snakehead, which I found to be quite similar to catfish but with a superior texture. I'm definitely looking forward to trying more dishes on the menu. During the breakfast buffet, my wife raved about the sweet bacon and grits. The server suggested I try the bread pudding, which I usually don’t care for, but theirs was absolutely delicious. If you’re in the mood for tasty seafood in a casual and welcoming environment, I highly recommend checking this place out!
We have gone here many times for their Sunday Brunch. The food is always really good and the servers are really good (if not overwhelmed at times). The only complaint is that sometimes the person making omelettes gets so busy that we end up leaving before the Omelettes are ready (SADLY). I have to recommend this place for brunch and be sure to order the Bloody Mary (they are really good).
This restaurant is still operating, but it is seasonal. They seem to be open on certain holidays throughout the year and on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Yelp should really update their information. The staff is fantastic, and the food is delightful. One of the standout offerings is their fresh oysters. My girlfriend and I were in town for the weekend and visited here to eat lunch!OMG the food was so so good. Shrimp to die for. The bartender Jasmine was really awesome, she gave us her recommendations on the menu and they were on point. Next time we are in the area we will definitely visit here again.
Family oriented, great service. The staff were very friendly and came around several times to refill glasses, etc. The crab cakes were delicious! There was a hiccup with missing sides and a steak not cooked as ordered but the staff more than made it right. Hope to come back again!
This restaurant in located at Tall Timbers Marina on creek off Potomac where I gas up my boat. Friendly owner and staff. Very good breakfast buffet with cool to order omelet station. Look fwd to trying their oysters from oyster farm soon.
