We are local residents to Alma and are very happy the restaurant has reopened under the new ownership. Dan has done a fantastic job.We have ordered the liver n onions with bacon entrée. All day breakfast. Chicken quesadilla. Burgers. Dutch apple pie. Cheese cake. All were very good. The wait staff are all very attentive.The kitchen is in the first to see right behind the counter. Clean n friendly atmosphere. You'll see the owner hard at work along side his assistants. We are on our way now to grab a Good Friday desert. We used to frequent the previous restaurant in this location and loved it, so we decided to give the newly reopened one a try.We came away very disappointed. The food was average at best, the portions nowhere near what the previous ones were,the staff are aloof at best and the price is rather high. We stopped in for lunch and had three entrees and two desserts with no beverages. Our bill (with tip) was $60! Far too high for a very ordinary lunch. We won't be returning any time soon, even if it is close by...out of our snack bracket!

My friend & I went to this newly opened restaurant in the village of Alma and we were delighted with the breakfast and the quick service.Our waitress, Jenna, greeted us in a friendly manner and took our drink orders which were delivered promptly. She then took our breakfast orders and they too were quickly delivered to our table. The restaurant was packed and we took the last table available and still the service was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and cooked exactly as we ordered it.We shall return.

I had often seen cars and bikes parked here and never stopped in since it is pretty close to home. I decided to skip breakfast at home and check this place out. I am glad I did. Pretty typical breakfast offerings but with very fresh ingredients and home made bread. Breakfast was great all in all. The building is dated and on a definite slant but it didn't detract from the service or the quality of food. I would certainly stop in here again for a hearty breakfast. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

When you arrive, you are greeted by friendly staff. You can see right into the very clean, well organized and busy kitchen. This family run restaurant located in the village of Alma is a must stop for all those weekend road warriors traveling the country roads in North Wellington County. You can still expect a great home cooked meal, followed by amazing pies, and home baked items. You will be telling your friends, and coming back for more...

This is a nice basic place for lunch. Food typical Canadian, plain but well made. The homemade baked goods are a distinct plus. We had large club sandwiches with fresh white bread and nice sliced turkey. We skipped dessert but there was a fine selection of pies, squares and tarts. Restaurant is spotlessly clean and the wait staff are very friendly. Don't let the road construction stop you from going.

Stopped here for lunch, had a Clubhouse and Fries, food was fast and really good, portion size was generous but managable. Service was fast and friendly, definately going to be returning as often as possible!

Had the best club and fries, huge slices of fresh, proper turkey meat from an actual turkey! They serve good, home cooked food here, the staff are great, especially Miss Gina. Will be back soon!

The meal was plentiful and homemade tasty! Excellent baking.with great variety of pies. Homey atmosphere with friendly staff.
