For dessert, we had a lovely selection: one sticky toffee pudding with custard, one chocolate sponge cake with chocolate sauce and custard, and one scoop of ice cream with a variety of flavors, accompanied by some delicious biscuit tubes. Overall, it’s a very nice place to dine, and I highly recommend it, especially for the set price two-meal deal available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. The restrooms were exceptionally clean and well-stocked with toilet paper too.
What a great place this is, amazing food. The lamb shank was the largest I have ever seen. The build your own burgers are massive, you can add a second and if you can do two of theses, your not human. Really good flavour to the burger. They may not be familiar with Uckfield, but I was advised to check out this pub after reading some reviews that suggested it was worth a visit. I'm so glad we went! The food and service were outstanding, making for a fantastic atmosphere. Plus, with the special of two meals for £15, we definitely plan to return.
The food is excellent, and there are plenty of parking spaces available. The interior is beautifully decorated, and the prices are reasonable.
