This is a great spot with a great selection of beers . Two really nice bars as well, one on the first floor and the other upstairs. In addition to a great beer selection, they have some really good food. The food is pretty basic bar food but done really well. Shared wings and empanadas with my friends and we all thought the food was really good. Will definitely be trying to go back more often. This is also a neat location generally speaking in the little downtown area of Bloomingdale, NJ.
River is a fantastic pub. The beer list always has something fantastic on it, the bartenders make great mixed drinks, and the food is wonderful. I'd love to know what's in River Sauce because it's out of this world. The fries are absolutely top notch, too. By the way provolone sticks are life changing. You never notice how boring fired Mozzarella is until you fry some other kind of cheese.
I live around the corner from here and we come here a lot for dinner and drinks. The outside area is awesome. Recently, I hosted a 40 person party here which was amazing. I worked with Nancy for months to plan it and she is wonderful. Tyler was our server and he killed it. Attentive and quick and was stellar the whole evening. Food and drinks are always a hit. Can't wait to come back
I've visited this restaurant three times now, and each experience has been fantastic. They offer incredible burgers and a wide variety of delicious food. The quality of the bar food is outstanding. Edit: I've been back to River of Beer a bunch of times now and the food is good bar food, the outdoor is beautiful and relaxing, and the staff is so kind, easy-going, and attentive! Original Post: The outdoor area in the back is enjoyable and chill. Service is always great here.
My absolute favorite hometown bar! Good selection of rotating taps, and creative seasonal cocktails. The food here is all excellent I will always come back for a Whiskey Maple Burger or and order of gobblers. But the real stars are the staff awesome bartenders across the board!
This place is quite enjoyable. It's a nice change to find a local pub with a balanced mix of male and female patrons. I'm not mentioning any specific names, but since the bar in Butler is now closed, having the option to visit River of Beer feels like a refreshing experience.
Wow. This place did not disappoint! Beer was amazing. We had the black bean balls, French onion soup, and hummus platter. All was delicious and atmosphere and service were both excellent…would highly recommend! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

"I had a frustrating experience ordering delivery from this restaurant. I placed my order through the app, where the food was prepared. The bowls I received were only half full, even though I paid $11 for them, which is typically $9 for a much larger portion. When I reached out to customer service, they refused to send a replacement order that night. As a result, my husband and I had to forgo dinner so our children wouldn't go to bed hungry."
