What a wonderful place! They stop seating about 1-2hrs before they close due to the wait list. The food is phenomenal and worth it! We put our name on the list (1.5hr wait) then walked down to the toy store and shopped around. The biscuits and gravy were the best I think I've ever had from a restaurant. So good that I bought ab extra order to go so I would have it the next day. ?? They are also dog friendly on the patio and provided water and lovins. I would make the hour drive from KC to go again. High recommend!!
The food was absolutely delicious! I got a their signature breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino. Delish!! My friend got a whiskey spiked coffee I tasted and that was strong but also good. I have it 4 stars because the staff was very kind, but never called/text us when or table was ready and they did not check in super often or offer our checks, we had to wave them down to ask. Not a big deal, but it did slow down our time there. I would definitely eat there again ??
This is a fantastic breakfast spot with deliciously flavorful food. They offer a coffee bar where you can choose from regular coffee and customize its strength at a self-serve station. The restaurant is cozy, so be prepared for a potential wait to get in. They also serve cocktails during lunchtime. Just a heads-up: the place closes at 2 PM.
One of the best breakfast spots in an Lawrence, excellent food and service. Be prepared to have to wait for a table though as it's a popular restaurant and during their peak rush there's always people waiting to be seated. The coffee here is fantastic. Best French toast in Lawrence.
