The Rose Public House

Young brunette server was rude and showed us zero warmth the entire time we were there eating. I get it, she wanted to be doing other things with her Sunday, but it was really noticeable by all of us and soured the experience. The Caesar salad was inedible absolutely drenched in dressing with sodden lettuce floating in it like a soup! Server didn’t come and ask how everything was, so when she came to clear the plates away at the end we mentioned it and showed her the soupy salad and she just said “OK.” Nothing offered.

Rudest and most baffling experience in a pub. We visit the rose quite frequently however yesterday we were frostily refused a second pint. When we asked the barman why, he indicated a tea light containing a match which had been on our table and suggested we had been playing with matches… we had not however the barman’s mind was made up and we were shown the door. I remain confused and am sorry to say that one entitled and power brazen barman has lost the rose three happy punters

Nice boozer off the beaten track at the back of London Bridge station. Nice layout and decor , great vibe and nice clientele, prompt bar service , and even a reasonable enough price point for pints given the location and current climate. However all kinda ruined by the quality of the beer. The Guinness was really really poor and there is no excuse for that in this day in age. Left my group after a couple of pints because of it. Shame

Nice enough boozer, barman was a bit grumpy, but we weren't there long enough to know if it was just a one off. The beer selection though is a bit of a let down, clearly catering for the fizzy lager crew (there was one real ale pump, but it had Doom Bar on it, so pretty dull). We arrived later than usual for dinner and missed out on the roast dinner, but the food was decent. The staff member who served us was exceptionally friendly and we are looking forward to returning.

Go on, 'ave a parmo Get the Bermondsey parmo. I return here just for these and the Only Fools and Horses piped into the Gents '. Guys behind the bar and friendly too.

Really lovely staff ...nice old london pub ..liked it a lot ..even has a little special smoking bit at back...sunday roast all good ....

This restaurant offers beer, with some background noise in the restroom (could be just me). It is not as highbrow as other pubs nearby. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Stopped in to experience this local pub on the way to the Shard . Great cozy, friendly pub. Try their daily PIE!

Very cosy traditional pub with reasonable pub food and ales and festive mulled wine...a nice buzz to the place!
