The service at this restaurant was terrible. I arrived at 5:40pm and ordered drinks and food by 5:50pm, but by 6:30pm I still hadn't received anything. I had to go to the bar to get my own drinks after asking the waiter twice. When I inquired about my food, I was told it would be another 15 minutes before starters were coming. Four other tables around us had the same experience and we all decided to get up and leave. The staff didn't even apologize. The food didn't look appetizing from what I saw. I will never go back and would advise others to do the same. Definitely avoid this place. There are better options nearby for food. Rating: 0/10.
Dropped in here before our concert. Sign said they were booked up but the place was beyond empty. The server went to ask amd they said they could squeeze us in. I wish she hadn't. We ordered from the Chinese food menu. I wish we hadn't. I ordered sweet and sour chicken I wish I hadn't. The chicken was dry and really hard and difficult to cut. The pieces were massive and unwieldy. I hardly ate any of it amd spent the rest of the night with a really sore tummy and thinking I was going to be sick. It was awful. I do not recommend this place at all. It ruined the end of a brilliant night and cost a small fortune too. STEER CLEAR
Too much garlic!! We ordered a wild mushroom linguine and a spaghetti carbonara, but all we could taste was garlic. It seemed like they used the same sauce for both dishes. We left with a strong garlic taste that we couldn't shake off. It was very disappointing. They need to pay more attention to the quality of their food. Additionally, our food arrived too quickly and we finished our meal in just 45 minutes. The only good part was our drinks. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant.
Gets very busy on concert nights so booking is required. Service was great Stephen was especially attentive. Food was delicious very fresh and reasonably priced. Good choice of Chinese, Thai or Japanese. Wine was nice but Peroni a half pint was £3.15 but a pint was £6.45 odd we did ask the waiter but they couldn't explain the reason. We saw loads of people being turned away shame as some tables were empty all the time we were sitting there.

Went last night 14/6/23 and opted for the Chinese side of things , i must admit to being confused by some of the negitive reviews as my experience was great , i got a bottle red wine , ribs , tempura prawns and a satay all was brilliant! Service my the lassie serving was great , i will definitely go back .
Having been let down by the restaurant in our hotel, the Routnda multi restaurant was able to accommodate us when we had no booking, Safety were friendly, polite. Food fresh and well cooked. Vibrant and busy atmosphere and value for money. The only let down was no dessert available.
We had a wonderful evening with exceptional service at this restaurant. Rachel went above and beyond to ensure our food was dairy-free. The dishes were beautifully presented, hot, and delicious. We will definitely be coming back the next time we visit the Ovo Hydro.
Without doubt the worst ‘Asian/fusion’ food I have ever eaten. Zero presentation…a dogs dinner would describe it. Dry chicken. Prawn curry smothered in a gelatinous sauce. Cabbage covered in a sugary syrup. I could go on! Avoid at all cost!!

It’s food at rapier like delivery, I think I was putting a fork of food in my mouth and the fork wasn’t there ? You can’t have relaxing food in this place if you tried. Conveyor belt would be doing it a favour.
