Ate outside, nice and clean. Small menu with no childrens options unfortunately. Luckily we visited specifically for the Ploughmans which had been recommend. It's always a joy to dine at this pub. On bank holiday Monday, with live music, it was particularly busy, but the two young women serving the tables never seemed to tire and provided excellent service throughout. Great job, ladies!
This restaurant has a wonderfully cozy atmosphere with a beautiful fireplace. I absolutely loved the wild mushrooms on sourdough—truly a quintessential English pub dish. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
