We went for my daughters birthday with our parents of us in total) we all agreed the food was first class! The roast dinners were delicious. Service was outstanding and the staff went above and beyond you make my daughters birthday special, I cannot thank them enough. I would highly recommend this lovely little pub and we will definitely be back again soon
The quality of the food was excellent. The bar and restaurant was very busy for Sunday Lunch hence the service was slower than usual. With the Open Table pre booking App, the establishment should be able to monitor numbers and provide appropriate service personnel.
Traditional very old pub with log fire and twinkly lights. Superb ambiance. Really good food, great value, menu just different enough to be interesting. Staff always very welcoming. A couple of âdifferentâ beers on hand pump I have never been disappointed here.
Lovely pub, food fresh and delicious, staff attentive and good value for money. The only slight issue was that they seated all the diners in a small area of the pub so it felt we were crammed in, when the rest of the tables were empty. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
A great place to meet up with friends. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good selection on the menu and speedy service of the meal. Presentation was excellent. Well done to the kitchen staff. Will be coming again. Highly recommended.
The food was amazing! Could literally be the best roast dinner that I have ever had. The only downside of the meal is that we were forgotten a couple of times by the staff but they were very polite and professional
We first found the Royal Oak when visiting last August and it is now our go to pub when in this area. Very well balanced menu food always cooked and presented well Excellent steaks!
