As frequent Friday night patrons, we love coming to the Royal Oak for their delicious fish and chips. I always order my chips in a chip butty and my partner enjoys the scampi. The batter on the fish is the best I've ever had, and the cod is always beautifully flaky. What sets this restaurant apart is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere - the staff treat us like family, taking the time to chat with us and ensure we have a relaxing and enjoyable experience every week. Special shoutouts to Ian, Kieran, John, Leila, Dave, and Jack, but really, all the staff are wonderful. The beer is superb too.
Myself, family and friends eat and take part in the quiz night every week. Dave is a fantastic quiz host. The bar staff are always cheerful and friendly, especially Keiran. The food is lovely, especially the katsu curry, although I can thoroughly recommend the hunters chicken.
I recently enjoyed a lovely family dinner at The Oak in Bishops Cleeve. Kieran provided excellent service, the food was delicious, and the desserts were fantastic. The staff, service, food, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Overall, it was a fabulous evening.

Very helpful and entertaining staff where nothing is too much trouble. The seniors lunch, 2 course for £6.99 is good value and very tasty.
