Two of our roast beef’s were fatty with a white sinu through the middle, even the meat area was hard to cut with a normal knife. I’ve had Aberdeen Angus cattle so know what good meat should be like. One pudding was provided incorrectly to what was ordered and suddenly got replaced. We have had good meals with you but were disappointed yesterday.
Lovely pub for a good meal with friends. The food is definitely gastro pub standard and there is a nice selection of beers and wines. It was moderately noisy when we started but quietened towards late afternoon. It ends up being quite dear but I wouldn't say it was poor value.
Always great food and our lunch with friends once again got a collective thumbs up. The service and attention from the waiter was excellent personable, attentive with positive engagement. Well done we will be back

A good warm welcome. Excellent food and service however would have liked more custard on the ginger sponge pudding.
We managed to get a last minute (early) Saturday evening table for 5 in the bar side of the Royal Oak.
We came here for a Sunday lunch and I would say that everything just about met our expectations.
