we've eaten so often here in the last five years. even by covid they could keep it together with a reduced menu and changes to their procedures. in the last six months, however, something has changed. the quality of eating is slipped, and our family has paid the price. two in our party of four had both the same court, and we both became seriously ill. the beginning was sudden and unexpected, and one of the individual, almost on the autobahn, while with two small children sitting behind. this was reported on health services, and an inspection was subsequently carried out five days after the incident, but the restaurant had already been made aware that it was people who were sick, so it seems...
We have visited this restaurant each year we are in Crowsnest for the past 6 years. My first review gave this place a 5. After our last visit, it will be a long time before we stop again. The food is always good but waiting...90 minutes for an appetizer and a meal is not. While we understand the region has been struggling to find staff, someone should have communicated the delay and not left us sitting there. We entered the restaurant at 4:45 to beat the rush as we know they get busy. We left at 6:15 and missed our show. We waited almost 15 minutes just to order as we did not know what we wanted the minute we sat down. After that, we saw no one for 20 minutes and only because they had to ser...
We had Tania as our server and she was fantastic - energetic, lively, positive, and humorous. I had been craving a burger for a while but due to Covid, we hadn't been dining out much. I was looking for the perfect burger and this restaurant delivered. The burger was cooked to perfection, with a nicely toasted bun that wasn't oversized. They accommodated my request for no condiments on the bun. Tania was an amazing asset to the restaurant. I highly recommend this place - the food looked well-prepared and presented, and it is a first-class operation for sure.
ased in our hotel. we sat out on the lamps lakeside deck and started with the firecracker shrimp with kimchee mayonnaise - really anyone who doesn't like this is nuts. this was followed by the spaghettini with clams, garlic, and broccolini, tossed with calamari, chorizo, and serrano (excellent), and finished with the bombe chocolate with dulce de leche and chocolate pearls - whatever that means - that tasted as good as it sounds. bye, bye bikini! we washed this down with a great bottle of bordeaux. all in all, the best meal in a while. Our visit was mid week, mid day, the 4th wave of Covid was raging. Server very casually glanced at our Covid certificate and ID at the door, seated us. Service was good, had a good burger. But while we were sitting there we observed the...server's cleaning of the table with a rag from behind the bar. No spray of sanitation fluid, no cleaning of the hard chairs and arm rests. Just a rag. Disgusting not only during a very serious Covid oubreak, but even during normal times, this just doesn't cut it. Wasn't impressed.
Have wanted to stop in for a while, and finally had a chance last weekend. The service was great, but it was tough to understand the beer list verbally; restaurant is rockin' so also a bit loud...but that's what its about. Bison and Peppercorn burgers...were excellent choice of sides is long and interesting. All in it was $60 for 2 plus tip. 1 burger 1 beer each. There's an opportunity to showcase some more local beers, however understand that may be difficult with the volumes they have going through.
We got our meal to go, to take back to our hotel. We were grateful for that when we saw the lack of social distancing or complying with health measures (unless there are lots of households in the area with 4-6 men all living together)....The food was excellent, but I would take it to go!
I had a lovely day with the elderly relatives who came over from the UK. We finished our day with a delicious meal, cold beer, and excellent service at the restaurant. The kitchen staff, servers, and front of house team did a wonderful job. Keep up the great work! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Awesome menu choices, excellent food and pretty good customer service . This was their opening day after moving into Stage 2 the food was as good always I think they were little overwhelmed with all the customers
