We have dined at Salt Line frequently over the years, and it remains one of the best casual seafood places in DC. We recommend starting with the raw bar or trying our favorites: the smash burger and the lobster roll (definitely go for the butter). Be sure to try the baked pimento cheese appetizer, and don’t forget to ask for extra chips on the side. There’s also outdoor seating by the water, which features some of the coziest heaters in DC during the winter months. The outdoor bar is vibrant and lively, offering great drinks and a fun atmosphere during happy hour or before heading in for dinner.
I finally had some Pappy van Winkle! Outstanding location with a beautiful view outside and comfortable setting inside. The menu items are fantastic making it hard to choose just one thing. The clam selection is fantastic, as is the presentation. The clam chowder is very good, but not as good as the other food items that our group purchased. The staff is very friendly, efficient and engaging. The food was terrific and the drinks were perfectly mixed. Great
I have gedimt several times last year at the salt line -navy yard and have enjoyed every experience very much. the service is top notch and eating is excellent. there is always a very good rust selection and the servers are usually very well informed about the individual properties of each oyster. if they are not able to get a table, I recommend it in the bar.
The staff service was amazing and extremely accommodating! The food was delicious and served hot. We also enjoyed the wine and drink selections. The outdoor canopy was warm and inviting. The view was beautiful. I would definitely come back and highly recommend dinner at The Salt Line!

we were shocked by the king crawling order and price: clearly steer off the king's cocks legs! $85 got us a half. the carrot side dish was simped and had a strange mix of aromen with feta cheese. the pfirsiche and cream tartlets was delicious.
