The restaurant is understated but elegant with a lovely country charm. The wait- staff is expertly trained; attentive but not cloying. The food, from the appetizer through the desert course was all expertly prepared. The roasted halibut was, without a doubt, the best I have ever had, be it in fancy NY establishments or throughout my travels in Europe; simply perfectly prepared and presented. The deserts were no less awe inspiring; simple, elegant, well balanced and beautifully presented. Do not forget the wine- the list has some very reasonably priced options with excellent choices overall. And, last but not least, even the best meal can be ruined by a lousy, sub-par cup of coffee. This restaurant never ceases to amaze me. We had a magical lunch at the end of October on a summer like day. The food and cocktails were terrific as was the service. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant.
Everything was delicious. We had the beet salad which was superb and the calamari also delicious. Then we had the grey sole and halibut and tagliatelle Roma and finished with a coconut cake. All delicious

Food was excellent. Beet salad, pumpkin sage ravioli were standouts. Strawberry shortcake was also outstanding.
