What a great little find! Driven past it a few times on the A1079 on the way in to York. Looks like a toilet block from the outside so never really thought much of it, but I was very wrong! Lately they’ve had a sign outside saying they’ve been voted in the Top 50 Fish and Chips in the UK, so I felt it was time to give it a go. Upon entering, was greeted with an extremely clean and tidy yet simple layout of the shop. Counter at the front and seating to the left. Definitely recommend checking out this restaurant. The service was prompt, we dined in, and the meal was great value for money. Prices range from £1 to £10 per person. The food was delicious, service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Highly rated!
