I’m visiting from New York and went here based on rave reviews of hotel staff. Our experience was not up to expectations. My husband ordered clam chowder and the potato’s were hard uncooked and the clams were rubbery. It tasted like canned clams vs fresh. I wanted chicken, but they were out of it. I asked for either the scallops or the salmon plain and learned everything here is pre prepped so there’s no flexibility. Not a smart marketing move to not even have a plain salmon left unprepared. Friendly local small family restaurant. You sit in a beautiful restaurant with a view of the fish farming ponds, which gives the place a lot of character and charm. The sunset view over the water was amazing!The service staff was friendly and helpful. We had the soup of the day, oysters and snails as starters. Everything was very, very tasty. I’ve been going to Seaside for special occasions for about as long as I can remember. And I’ve never been disappointed in any way. From the atmosphere to the views, the always friendly staff and don’t get me started on the food! The fried Aholehole is my personal favorite with butter noodles. But I’m a known plate pirate and my fork will attack. I’ve had a bite or two of just about everything on their menu over the years and can say you’d be safe just asking the server to bring you their favorite and sit back and wait for the surprise!Forever Seaside loyal!
This is a local restaurant.The poke I ate here was so delicious that I never ate poke anywhere else after that.I was afraid that I would taint this taste with other pokes. The other food was delicious too.They told me I couldn't eat there if I didn't make a reservation, but luckily I got a table.This was the best poke restaurant of my life. Very nice view of the water. Our waitress Sam was very good, making sure that we were taking care of and explained the menu items very well. The Ono and scallops are outstanding. The wasabi cream sauce was unlike any other I’ve ever tasted. Save room for dessert, and or after dinner drink because they are top-notch. Thank
The person serving us did not listen to the way I ordered and I ended up having her take it back 3 times so my husband ate his meal all by himself and it was his birthday dinner!!
I love this place and it’s our go-to place whenever we want a night out. Food is always great and the wait staff are always pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend.
