Have been a few times to the Shake for a curry and a drink. The food is great, I can recommend the chicken madras. The staff have always been excellent, they are all young, friendly, and nothing is too much trouble and the service is great there is also a lady called Gina who is very helpful especially when trying to book a table. Thank you to all the staff, hope to visit again very soon.
Having recently moved to Newport, we had heard good things about the Shakespeare Inn. We visited with a group 8 and we all enjoyed the excellent food and drink. I had the chicken tikka masala, egg fried rice and garlic naan which was all delicious. I tried a friend’s Nepalese Chips and I’ll be ordering some of them next time I visit. Great service.
What an amazing place. If you have no other reason to go to new port Telford, make this it. Cracking food, good beer and friendly staff. A curry house in an old English pub......mind blowing.
