I just can't believe I've never been to shepherd market! oh, as I missed in the last few years. Why didn't anyone tell me that this area existed? shepherd market first reminded me of the quarter latin in paris – maybe a little posher and les touristy. this small oasis in the middle of mayfair is hidden between piccadilly and curson street and is full of urigen pubs, independent shops and boutiques and restaurants. the walk around this part of the city is pleasant, and the architecture takes it back centuries. the pastness of the shepherd market is very colorful, full of famous, infamous strata and visitor. it's just hidden between piccadilly and curson street.
kudos to shepherd market wine house for its laborious expertise and the wonderful environment for the pleasure of great wine. the more I came to appreciate wein, the more I realized that there is still much I do not know and that such a lack of knowledge tends to be the case with so many so-called knowers. just as I continue to meet with mayfair – one of my favorite londons for a meandering mosey – the more I smoke and feel the mirror of the brashest affluence and exclusiveness for myself, have shadowed this elaborate and historical neighbourhood.
after a few months of london, I think it was inevitable that I would come home to find a few changes in my neighborhood. fortunately, in this case, most of these changes have proved to be better, especially as they are the arrival of shepherd market wine house (smwh) a cozy weinbarable, which has been seen between the original patchworks of the shepherd market. directly at the hotel piccadilly, this is a bag of mayfair in a colorful history and bursts with character even today.
Lovely pub, the children lived the sunken trampoline and other toys in the garden. Quiet and peaceful. The children's picnic lunch was exactly what most picky toddlers want to eat. Perfect!
