We booked a table for lunch during one of our days out in the Christmas holidays after spending some time on the beach, which we were really looking forward to. The greeting we had from two members of staff was lovely and very welcoming. We...were promptly showed to our table and I was brought a menu especially adapted with the gluten free options on it without asking (I’d mentioned my diet requirements in our reservation online). We had the pleasure of staying with some friends who live a short walk from The Ship Inn. It was lovely to see the friendly familiarity all the staff showed to the locals as well as the warmth they shared with visitors also. The evening...meal we shared was very well presented and the food had just the right amount of character to make it feel individual to the place. And the full english we all had a few days later had everything just right; a decent selection on the plate and cooked perfectly. We returned to Tresaith after being away for the winter and visited The Ship on a Friday afternoon. We were warmly welcomed on a cold but dry March day. The restaurant looked fantastic both inside and out, and once we stepped through the door, we decided to have some food and relax for a while. We had our large dogs with us, and they enjoyed mingling with other furry friends. The staff were outstanding, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The beer and wine selection was excellent, and the view was as beautiful as ever. We were thrilled to be back.
We had many nice meals here in the past and, as usual the food was very nice. Given that we were the only occupied table, with two more parties arriving while we waited, the time it took for someone to take our order was too...long. Ketchup and mayonnaise arrived in single-use little plastic pots, which is totally unnecessary and contributes to heaps of plastic waste. I also prefer food to be served on a plate, not on a wooden board with a piece of paper on it. Meant to look rustic for the burger I guess but a nuisance for eating.

Stayed for a couple of nights in early January. Although very cold outside the room, overlooking the beach was warm cosy, very clean, powerful shower and comfy beds. Our table in the restaurant for dinner could have been a little warmer (we were in...a dog friendly area) but the food was good and the service excellent. Breakfast was good served in the room overlooking the bay. The staff were all very pleasant friendly making an enjoyable stay. Will certainly return.
Table of on New Years Day. Staff placed us in the conservatory which has fabulous views. Staff were friendly and tried hard. But the food was average at best. Cockles to start, previously were a delight whereas on this occasion were tasteless and weak...sauce. Then on to the Burger totally inedible. Dry, tasteless, burnt as one of our group described ‘like cardboard’. of us left the burgers completely yet the staff didn’t even comment!!! Very poor overall.
We stayed here for a night in the first week of January. The weather wasn’t the best but the pub was still busy. We had a lovely evening meal. I can particularly recommend the cockles starter. The service was great and all staff were super...friendly. The room was more than value for money for the price we paid and the view is simply stunning. Thanks again we will certainly return in the near future .
The restaurant is located in such a stunning setting! The sky was a beautiful shade of blue and the weather was pleasant when we visited. Even though we only ordered drinks (three coffees and an orange juice), we could have easily stayed for hours enjoying the spectacular views.

The food was excellent, the service was quick, the staff were friendly, and the views were great. The menu had a good variety of options and our party of 9 enjoyed our evening meal. We will likely return during our week-long stay.
