Visited for a carvery again today, and service was impeccable. Thank you to Joe for making sure we didn't need to leave our table for anything. We also saw him helping other guests by delivering Yorkshire puddings to their table when they wouldn't fit on their plates even though the place was packed. The food was excellent, shame the cocktail machine was down and that they don't offer real coffee but a great Sunday out.
Went today for Sunday lunch. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Joe waited on our table and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Stellar service. So a huge thank you to him. Will definitely be back as the atmosphere and views are superb.
Excellent food and location, specifically recommend the steak and ale pie, full of decent meat. Friendly staff, decent prices, a steam train puffing away nearby and the River Severn a stones throw away, what more could you ask for? Oh, by the way, dog friendly as well!
Great pub we enjoyed the tasty food and cask ales. We were a party of seven five adults and two young children, and we were very well catered for the staff went above and beyond. Would go back.
