We came here for Sunday lunch, we all had the braised shoulder of lamb, and it was fantastic. Definitely one of the best Sunday lunches we have had in a long time, apart from the ones my wife makes of course. it tasted great. Good portion size, not too much not too little, good wine selection, and very friendly service. it has a great pub feel to it, a warm fire, and comfy seats. Definitely going back again.
Stayed for two nights in this great facility in the Ribblesdale accommodation great place for food and drink and the staff are fantastic very friendly and accommodating. Will most definitely be returning as great location for visiting Harrogate and surrounding area.

Just enjoyed our second stay and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Kate and her staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The food is great, amazing freshly cooked breakfast to order, or something lighter if you wish....
